On some developments the surrounding sewer systems are unsuitable for the new system to be connected. This means sometimes we are required to provide a pumping station for the foul to be delivered to the adopted sewer. This usually involves constructing a deep wet well to receive the discharge from the foul system, a dry well for the thrust blocks and the rising main out to an outfall manhole on a gravity fed system.
